Sorry to see that! It looks like you purchased a sterling silver chain which does oxidize overtime. However, it shouldn't have happened on the first use unless it was exposed to something that rapidly increased that natural process. Sterling silver can be easily cleaned at home and I'd be happy to send you links and instructions if you'd like to try that. If not, you're welcome to reach out to us for a refund or exchange!
